Transport

By car

from the west (Prague), south (Brno) and east (Ostrava) – D1 motorway; from the northwest (Hradec Králové) – highway 35, from the northeast (Opava) – highway 46

By train

direct connection from Prague and Ostrava – the train station is about a 30-minute walk from the town centre and the Triennial venue; tram nos. 2, 4, 6

By bus

direct connection also from Brno – the bus station is about a 40-minute walk from the town centre and the Triennial venue; tram no. 4

Parking

is possible in the centre of the town (Náměstí republiky) and in a nearby parking garage (Hanáckého pluku)

Accommodation

Olomouc is inscribed on the UNESCO World Heritage List. There are an adequate number of accommodation facilities in the centre of the town. If you are interested in visiting the Triennial during the spring events of AFO and the Flora Theatre Festival, we recommend booking your accommodation in advance.
